Russell Wiggs Russell L. Wiggs attend Crosby Elementary and Middle School. He is a graduate from Irvin High School and received a BBA from the University of Texas at El Paso. Russell is a member of NE Exchange Club-Charter Member Youth Soccer Coach for NESL from 1990 to the present. He has served on the board of El Paso Youth Soccer for 10years as President, Secretary and Treasurer. He is also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and served as President of the Church body, Secretary and currently the Treasurer. In addition he is a member of the Irvin HS CIT from 2000 to Present. Willing and able volunteer in helping Irvin HS from education programs to athletic events. Russell was a member of HE Charles and Park Foothills CIT. He is currently a member of the EPISD Athletic Facilities Committee from 2007 to present and the EPISD Bond Accountability Committee from 2007 to present. Russell believes that Every student is afforded the same opportunities in education without bias toward their financial condition or ethnic background. Making available every opportunity of a student to achieve to the highest level of their capabilities and ensuring that every student is given the opportunity to continue their education beyond high school. Russell has been instrumental in helping to upgrade the facilities at Irvin HS and in bolstering the image and reputation of the student body. He is a successful Northeast El Paso entrepreneur for 26 years and has helped to raise two very successful young men. In addition he has coached eleven 1st team all District soccer players, one City player of the year and one 2nd team all State player. Then seeing them become successful young men. Nine are in college, one marine and one police officer. |
