Board Secretary District 1

Lisa Colquitt-Muñoz represents campuses in the El Paso and Bowie high school feeder patterns. Colquitt-Muñoz is the director of business development for Arq Tek Construction. Colquitt-Muñoz, a graduate of Loretto Academy, has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Thunderbird International Graduate School.

Colquitt-Muñoz, a former reporter with KDBC and KINT, was the executive assistant to former County Judge Alicia Chacon in the early 1990s. She has served on the United Way of El Paso Board, the Central Appraisal Board and several other community boards. Colquitt-Muñoz was appointed to the Board in November 2003 to fill the unexpired term of longtime Trustee Richard Telles Sr. She served as Board President from May 2005 to May 2007.
