Isela Castañon-Williams represents campuses in the Burges and Jefferson feeder patterns. She is a professor at the El Paso Community College and also serves as the college’s district wide instructional coordinator for the Teacher Preparation Program. Castañon-Williams, a Bowie High School graduate, has a bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology from UTEP and a master’s degree in early education from the University of Washington in Seattle.
Castañon-Williams is active with the Democratic Party and has served as a delegate to state and national Democratic conventions. She is a Commissioner for the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Early Childhood Associate Degree Accreditation Commission.
Castañon-Williams has four children.
