Attorney Carlos E. Flores represents the Austin High School feeder pattern. He is an associate with Brown McCarroll, LLP where he practices commercial litigation and provides administrative law and general business counseling. Flores is a former middle school language arts teacher who taught in the San Antonio Independent School District and United Independent School District in Laredo, Texas.

Flores is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law and Texas A&M International in Laredo. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Mexican American Bar Association of El Paso and a former Board Member of El Paso Counts. Flores was appointed by City Rep. Steve Ortega to serve on the City of El Paso’s Civic Service Commission.

Flores was appointed by the Board of Trustees Nov. 27, 2007 to fill the unexpired term of Sal Mena, who resigned in August 2007.
