Russell Wiggs

Board Trustee District 4

Russell L. Wiggs represents campuses in the Chapin and Irvin high school feeder patterns. He has been a State Farm agent since 1982. A product of EPISD, Wiggs attended Crosby Elementary and Irvin High School. He also is a graduate of UTEP with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

Wiggs has served on the board of El Paso Youth Soccer for 10 years serving as president, secretary and treasurer. He has been coaching youth soccer since 1990. Wiggs is also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and served as president, secretary and currently treasurer of the church body.

He has played an active role in EPISD even before being elected to District 4 in May 2009. Wiggs has served on the Irvin High School, Charles Middle School and Park Elementary School Campus Improvement Teams. He also served on the EPISD Athletic Facilities Committee and the EPISD Bond Accountability Committee.
