Curriculum

Portals is a series of gifted and talented curriculum frameworks using universal themes and generalizations developed and implemented by teachers in the El Paso Independent School district. The curriculum is based on NAGC’s Parallel Curriculum Model and Dr. Sandra Kaplan’s Depth and Complexity Model.

Additional frameworks are being finalized for grades 4, 5, 7, 8, integrated language arts and social studies and for grades 6-8 science and math.
