Food and Nutrition Professional Staff
Area Supervisors
Each school has a manager and a nutrition clerk that manage the daily needs for each site. FNS Area Supervisors monitor compliance with local, state and federal policies, sanitation, staffing, nutrition education programs, school health curriculum, budgets, and menu planning and production. They offer technical assistant to school administrators pertaining to federal regulations. They are all Registered Dietitians and provide support for all areas of the National School Breakfast and Lunch programs, including parent or staff concerns about staff or policies. The Administrative Support Team is responsible for interdepartmental communication. This staff performs meal application audits for compliance. They also prepare food bids, place orders and arrange for food deliveries to cafeteria managers. This staff provides information needed for the many state and federal reports.
