Borderland GEAR UP Events
Teen Achievement 2011, "Achieving Excellence through Exploration" offered 11th & 12th grade GEAR UP students from Andress, Bowie, Irvin & Jefferson High Schools the tools to strengthen their leadership skills, public speaking skills & explore various career paths. Field trips included the El Paso Wastewater Treatment Plant & Workforce Solutions. Our Texas college tour led us to the University of Dallas, University of North Texas & University of Texas at Arlington.
