Phillip Deal
has over 11 years of law enforcement experience. He has worked Patrol, SRO and K9.
Officer Deal graduated from U.S. Department of Homeland Security Border Patrol National
Canine Facility narcotic canine instructor school. Officer Deal has received metals and
letters of commendation. Officer Deal believes you can never give up and to be drug free.
Hector Delgado
was a Texas Peace Officer for 7 years, worked as an SRO at Hornedo Middle School for 2
years, and is currently assigned as SRO at Brown Middle School. For Officer Delgado
working with the youth in providing guidance to help them make the right choices in life.
He enjoys horseback riding, farming, and spending time with his family.

John Dominguez
has been a Police Officer for more than 12 years. During that time, he has received
several awards, to include the medal of valor. He enjoys working with the youth and
helping them succeed is the best reward.
Officer Dominguez' message: "Stay straight, on track and never look back."
Victor Donoso
has been in the Law Enforcement field for 22 years. He started his career in 1985 with
the El Paso County Sheriff's Office from which he retired in January 2007 as a Deputy
Sheriff. His current position is Police Officer with the El Paso Independent School
District and is currently assigned to Bassett Middle School as a School Resource Officer.
Juan Esparza, Jr.
was a 30 year veteran with the El Paso Police Department, prior to working with the El Paso
Independent School District. Officer Esparza, Jr. has been with EPISD-PD since 2005. He
has been a School Resource Officer at MacArthur and at Ross Middle Schools. While still
working with the El Paso Police Department, Officer Esparza was able to obtain his college
degree in Criminal Justice and still volunteer as a coach and administrator for youth
sports. Officer Esparza has volunteered with the East El Paso Soccer League for over twenty
years. His experience with the police department and youth soccer has proven to him that
anybody can succeed in life, with a little drive. As an EPISD employee, Officer Esparza
hopes to continue to work with students in directing them to make the right choices in
their journey toward a productive society.

Tomas Gonzales
retired from the El Paso Police Department after 31 years of service. While with the
E.P.P.D. he worked numerous assignments to include the ? section, Gang Task Force, and
The Repeat Offender Program. He also spent 25 years as an active Bomb Squad member.
He currently has worked 2 and 1/2 years with the EPISD Police Department.
