Science
It is my mission to provide a high level of support to Priority campuses to help them meet AYP expectations in all subjects and for all student groups.
My specific goals as director of science are:
1) Continue to work with campuses in all areas to keep them off the AYP list;
2) Provide data and support to campuses-in-need-of-assistance for science instruction;
3) Work with district, campus and other appropriate personnel to facilitate and model staff development to ensure science instructors utilize best practices;
4) Facilitate communication about science instruction and initiatives district-wide.
