Terri Jordan, ED.D., Interim Superintendentent - El Paso Independent School District

Interim Superintendent Terri K. Jordan, Ed.D. began her career in the El Paso Independent School District in 1986 as a math teacher at Austin High School. She steadily moved up the ranks in EPISD, becoming an assistant principal and later principal of Franklin High School. Jordan also has served EPISD as the Executive Director for Technology and Information Systems, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction, Assistant Superintendent of College Readiness, Associate Superintendent for Secondary Schools and most recently Chief of Staff.

Jordan grew up in El Paso and graduated from Hanks High School in 1982. She earned her bachelor's degree in education with teaching fields in mathematics and Spanish from Texas Tech University in Lubbock. She has a master's degree in educational administration and a doctor of education from the University of Texas at El Paso.

Jordan was named Interim Superintendent in August 2011. She is married and has two children who attend EPISD schools.
