BASIC ACADEMY
BASIC Academy is a year - long training for Life Skills and SLU teachers, In-Home Trainers, and Instructional Coaches to assist them in the implementation of district curriculum and appropriate IEP goal setting. Participants will learn a process of lesson design to meet the needs of students with severe and multiple disabilities using age appropriate TEKS. Skills learned in this training will assist professionals in transition to TAKS-Alternative use.
