What JROTC is not!
JROTC is NOT A RECRUITING TOOL for the armed forces of the United States of America, and there is NO REQUIREMENT TO SERVE IN THE ARMED FORCES as a result of participating in the program.
- Color Guard
- Honor (Saber) Guard
- Drill Teams (armed and unarmed)
- Rifle Teams
- High/Low Ropes
- Orienteering Teams
- Junior Cadet Leadership Challenge
- Social Events
Dedicated JROTC appointments to service academies, two, three, and four year scholarships through the Senior ROTC program, and advanced placement upon voluntary enlistment in active military service can be earned by students completing the JROTC program.
