Originally from Sandwich, Mass, Ms. Trexler joined the military in 1985 and completed basic training at Fort Jackson, SC and advanced individual training as a 27D (paralegal) at Fort Benjamin Harrison, IN. Having served 23 years in various locations including Germany, Fort Lewis, WA, Fort Bragg, NC, Fort Campbell, KY, and Alexandria, VA, her military career culminated as a staff member at the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy where she retired in 2007.
Following her retirement from the military she began serving as a School Liaison Officer at Fort Bliss and is now serving in the capacity of Youth Education Support Services Director.
Her education and training includes: Air Assault School, basic and advanced noncommissioned officers courses, Naval Justice Academy, and the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy Class 55. She possesses an undergraduate degree in psychology, a master's degree in Education and is a Doctoral candidate in Education with an emphasis on management and leadership.
She has one daughter, Megan, a college senior.
