The Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) is a leadership development course, for high school students. The curriculum is dynamic and modern which includes service learning and focuses on the student's core abilities to fulfill our mission statement. Physical education credits and or elective credits can be earned through this course. JROTC is JUNIOR, RESERVE, OFFICER, TRAINING, CORPS. JROTC is designed to teach the value of citizenship, leadership, service to the community, personal responsibility, and a sense of self-esteem, teamwork, and self-discipline. This course prepares you for responsible leadership roles while making you aware of your rights, responsibilities, and privileges as an American citizen.
Opportunities
Dedicated JROTC appointments to service academies, two, three, and four-year scholarships through the Senior ROTC program and advanced placement upon voluntary enlistment in active military service can be earned by students completing the JROTC program.
