The El Paso Independent School District will have outdoor commencement ceremonies for the Class of 2020 in June to celebrate the accomplishments of high-school seniors while remaining compliant with local and CDC guidelines in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The District received approval from the City of El Paso to move forward with its plan to have outdoor graduation ceremonies for all high schools at three different stadiums on June 15-20.
EPISD students said good-bye to the 2019-20 school year on Friday, the last day of school. This year was one for the record books! While the pandemic kept us from saying good-bye in traditional ways, our schools found great ways to celebrate all the hard work that happened this year. Check out the photos!
El Paso’s iconic Star on the Mountain will shine bright over the next days in honor of the graduating seniors from the El Paso Independent School District’s Class of 2020. The star on the Franklin Mountain will be lit on May 22-23 and May 25-26 to commemorate the original Class of 2020 graduation dates for EPISD
