• Letter to students:

I’m really excited to be part of Bobby Joe Hill PK-8th and get to work with wonderful staff, students and parents. My door is always open to students, so feel free to stop by my office at any time to say “Hi” or for any of the following reasons:

    • You are worried about something (School, family, work)

    • Want help making choices or solving a problem

    • Having trouble with another kid or adult

    • Need help focusing in class

    • Confused about something

    • Feeling sad

    • Big changes in your life

    • Concerned about something that you heard at school or home

    • Saw somebody getting hurt

    • Somebody is hurting you

    • You feel like hurting yourself or others

    • You want to help others or volunteer

    • You have questions or concerns with your classes and schedule

    • You have questions or want information on High School (s)

I will do anything in my reach to help you help yourself, guide you to find resources when you have a need at home or school, teach you how to cope with different life situations and emotions so that you can be your best self, and help you stay safe!

As your Counselor I will never judge or punish you and it’s important for students to know that everything that a student says in the counseling office is confidential, unless: Someone is hurting you, you want to hurt someone else, or if you are hurting self.
