Program and Description

  • San Jacinto Adult Learning Center features programs and classes organized around three main goals of adult students: to obtain a job or start a career, attend college or post-secondary training and to develop basic English language skills to function effectively as a parent or citizen.  All classes and certifications are offered at no cost to students who qualify and are accepted into a program of study.

Vocational Certifications - Integrated Education and Training (IET)

Each program of study includes basic skills or English language instruction, workforce preparation and vocational training required for passing industry-recognized certifications for a variety of high-demand occupations in the El Paso area. Students must attend all vocational and basic skills English classes. Most classes are three nights per week and may be located at San Jacinto or the Center for Career and Technology Education.
