Computer Maintenance & Repair- 2 semesters
This course provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to prepare for the CompTIA’s A+ Certification exam 220-1001 and exam 220-1002. Students will have the knowledge required to assemble components based on customer requirements. Students will:
- learn computer and networking concepts
- install, configure and maintain devices, and PCs for end users
- understand the basics of networking, security and forensics
- safely diagnose, resolve and document common trouble shooting skills
- provide appropriate customer support
- understand the basics of virtualization, desktop imaging and deployment

Additional Requirements
Admission into this program requires advanced computer hardware and software skills including sytem installation. This certification does not include training on basic computer skills.
