• One of the primary purposes of the Roddenberry Planetarium is to serve as an educational facility for EPISD students and students from neighboring districts. As such, the planetarium hosts specific grade levels throughout the school year as well as providing for some public shows.  

    Grade levels that come to the planetarium are: 

    3rd, 5th, 6th and 8th grades.  

    6th and 8th grades typically will visit in the Winter Semester and 3rd and 5th grades will visit during the Spring Semesters.  

    Each program is aligned to specific TEKS in each grade level and each program is targeted towards that specific age group as well.

    • 3rd Grade: 2, 3C, 4B, 8B, C, D 
    • 5th Grade: 1B, 3B, 4, 8C, D 
    • 6th Grade: 1, 3 B, C, 11 A, B, C  
    • 8th Grade: 1, 2, 3AB, 8AB, 7 ABC
