Voucher Request Process
Review the IBCs listed under the Public-School Accountability (link below) and determine what IBC you are requesting, and the respective code found on the table. If the IBC you are requesting is not listed, you may still request CTE to purchase the IBC, however, priority will be given to those IBCs listed in the TEA A-F chart found in the link below:
Identify your students that will attempt the IBC exam. Locate Student ID #'s, Correct Spelling of Student Last Name and First Name. If you have more than 10 students attempting the IBC exam complete the Student IBC Voucher Request Form You will need to download and save a copy of the spreadsheet to your computer before you can add student names. The form requires you to select an answer to the first set of questions before the upload option appears. The Excel sheet allows you to list the student multiple times while selecting different IBCs each time.
Once you have your student list ready, please reach out to the appropriate IBC Vendor for your IBC and secure a quote for purchase. You will then need to complete the Voucher Request Form. If you have multiple tests listed on your spreadsheet, you will need to select "other" and enter the names of the TEA A-F list Test Code. If your Certification does not have a Test code, just enter the Certification name. The form will allow you to upload your student list and IBC vendor quote. If you need assistance with securing your IBC Vendor Quote, please see below.
To assist CTE with your voucher purchase please contact the IBC Vendor and request a quote. If you are unsure of what vendor to contact, please review the IBC Vendor Crosswalk List from TEA. After you receive the quote, you may upload your quote via the IBC Voucher Request Form. Please contact Ms. Laura Guevara, CTE Secretary, if you are unable to obtain a quote from the vendor. Her contact information is as follows: (915) 230-2242, email@example.com.
