Exams

  • EPISD is committed to providing equitable access to testing for all students to achieve college readiness and postsecondary success. The Texas Success Initiative Assessment 2.0 (TSIA2) tests students' math, reading, and writing skills to determine if they are ready for college-level coursework. Students will take the TSIA2 and receive support as needed.

The PSAT/NMSQT is the preliminary SAT used to identify National Merit Scholars. All students in 10th and 11th- grade are administered the PSAT in the fall. Likewise, 11th and 12th-grade students at all high schools are given the SAT during SAT School Days in fall for 12th graders and spring for 11th graders.

All students enrolled in an AP class will take the corresponding AP exam, which exposes them to the rigors of college-level exams and can qualify them for college credit.
