• I am a proud Baylor graduate, and I love to watch Baylor sports--Men's and Women's Basketball and Baylor football are my favorites.  Sic 'em, Bears!

I also enjoy living in the mountains.  My husband, Bob, and I love to go hiking with our dogs. I love to read.  My husband and I enjoy going to Chihuahuas games.  We are both from the Dallas area, so we are fans of all the professional teams from Dallas--the Cowboys, Texas Rangers, Dallas Mavericks, and Dallas Stars!

I have been married to my husband, Bob, for over 30 years!
We have two grown children--Morgan and Drew, and a son-in-law, Christian, and a daughter-in-law, Veronica.  Last year, we welcomed our first grandchild--Claire.

I have taught first, second, and third grades for ten years combined.  I have served as a Children's Minister for two large churches in El Paso and Jackson, Tennessee.  This is my sixth year as counselor at Kohlberg, and I absolutely LOVE IT.  I especially enjoy visiting each classroom monthly to do lessons related to social emotional learning.

I am here to serve as an advocate for students and families.  Please do not hesitate to call me if you or your child has a special need.  I have resources in my office that deal with a variety of issues that are common among children and families such as: grief over the loss of a family member or pet, sibling rivalry, bullying, divorce, anger management, study skills, discipline, self-regulation, feelings, and many more.

Be sure to check out the links for great resources, too.

I am so happy to be a Kohlberg Coyote!
