Practicum of Health Science I (Fall Semester – Second Year)
The Practicum in Health Science course is designed to give students practical application of previously studied knowledge and skills. Practicum experiences can occur in a variety of locations appropriate to the nature and level of experience.
Practicum of Health Science II (Spring Semester – Second Year)
The Practicum in Health Science course is designed to give students practical application of previously studied knowledge and skills. Practicum experiences can occur in a variety of locations appropriate to the nature and level of experience.
Course Requirements:
- Students must be at least 16 years old
- Students must be up-to-date on immunizations.
- Students, at their own expense, will be required to have a background check and a drug screening prior to clinical rotations.
- Students are required to show a Social Security card and a valid Texas ID in order to participate in CCTE designated clinical rotations.
- Students are also required to purchase and wear industry standard uniforms.
