Employee Health Clinics

  • Services are available to all full-time and part-time employees covered or not by TRS-AC Health Plan Options. Eligible dependents must be covered under the TRS-AC Health Plan to obtain services.

    No cost services include without limitation an office visit for acute medical conditions to include any of the following: strep screenings, urinalysis, nebulizer treatments, prescription of pharmaceuticals necessary for treatment diagnosed during the office visit, blood pressure checks, glucose checks, weight checks, minor emergency care and chest x-rays (chest x-rays are not available at the Boeing location).

    Please note: HRC at Boeing does not provide strep screenings, but provides treatment if the Nurse Practitioner believes, based on symptoms, that it is strep.

    Sport physicals are available at Education Center Boeing ONLY, as are Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals for all bus drivers as required by EPISD. Additionally, EPISD Boeing provides TDAP and Hep A, and Hep B vaccine by appointment. (Immunizations are only covered if insured by TRS-AC without the added expense of an office visit.)

    Acute care is not a condition that you are in treatment for but is a condition that presents itself rapidly, overnight or during the day, and is normally of a short duration but in need of urgent care.

    No Cost care is provided on a WALK IN BASIS, ONLY. At all EPISD’s employee clinics, you must identify yourself immediately as an EPISD employee and/or a dependent and complete the required paperwork. Depending on the nature of the acute condition that you are being evaluated for, there may be services recommended by the medical staff, which are not included in the NO COST care that the District has contracted for. Based on the diagnosis, the entire office visit and treatment may be billed to your medical insurance or to you, directly. Therefore, you may have to pay out of pocket for the services rendered.

    Identification required at all locations:

    • EPISD Employee ID Badge
    • Driver's License
    • TRS-AC Health Plan ID card (if enrolled or if a dependent)

    Clinic staff requires a picture ID as well as an EPISD employee ID. (NO EXCEPTIONS) For EPISD Eligible Dependents Not Accompanied By a Parent or Guardian, TRS-AC Health Plan ID and a personal ID is required; no exceptions.

    Services are available at the following El Paso locations, on a walk–in basis only.

  • The On-site HRC follows the District's Instructional Calendar for closings. Any time used for visits to any of the EPISD Employee Clinics by employees during an instructional/workday must be charged to one of the following: Compensatory Time (49) or Personal Illness Leave (10 or 11) or Flex Time with supervisor's prior approval.

    Remember all visits to the clinics will be treated as a regular doctor's office visit and in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Please allow for completion of medical background and other required paperwork.
