Community Resources Directory
-
El Paso ISD is committed to working with community organizations to support the most vulnerable individuals and families in our community. It is absolutely critical that families have resources for addressing their most basic needs so that students may effectively engage in the continuation of their education. The EPISD Counseling and Advising Department and the United Way of El Paso collaborated on the development of this resource directory. Included are the names of local support organizations, the nature of the support provided and contact information.

Virtual Care for Kids & Parents
As we continue to abide by the Stay Home rule imposed by the City of El Paso, it’s important to note that EPISD maintains its partnership with Virtual Care for Kids — a teleconferencing service that allows medical professionals to see students (and now even adults!) who feel ill. Patients can be diagnosed, referred and even have prescriptions called into the pharmacy through this service. Virtual Care for Kids is available to any student in EPISD. During the pandemic, the service has been extended to parents who may benefit from it as well. To learn more about the service, please click here.
During these times, the company is waiving copays to use the service. EPISD is the only school district in the region to offer this service, and we feel having access to trained medical personnel at the touch of a button can help ease the burden our area hospitals may have at this time.
