• Welcome Back Bonham Parents and Community,

It is my pleasure to welcome everyone back for another school year at Bonham Elementary School. We are excited to have our students back in our classrooms and hallways filled with energy, excitement and enthusiasm for learning. It is our goal to make all students feel welcomed, connected and a part of the Bonham family. We strive to challenge each student to grow in his or her academic abilities and to become college ready at the end of their educational journey. Bonham is home to the Regional Day School for children with a hearing impairment.  We proudly house students from the surrounding El Paso region. Bonham also offers a Dual Language program for students in Pre-K to 3rd grade. The Bonham instructional team truly believes that college readiness begins with us at the elementary level. We have dedicated teachers who spend hours planning and creating engaging activities for all learning styles. Our teachers utilize research-based best practices and analyze  data to determine current skill levels allowing for setting goals for growth and improvement of each student. We are dedicated to providing an environment conducive to learning. We are a PBIS, (Positive Behavior Intervention School) and focus on modeling and reinforcing positive behaviors. In addition, this school year, we are proud to become an SEL, (Social Emotional Learning) school that focuses on developing well-rounded learners.

I’m confident you will find our school website informative. Important Bonham happenings are posted on a regular basis. You can also expect to receive information via parent letters, our school wide global messaging system, teacher newsletters and our school billboard. This year parents and community members will be able to see learning at it’s best through class Dojo.

I am honored to serve as the Principal of Bonham Elementary School. It is truly a privilege to be part of a community where parents, teachers and students care for each other and strive to build positive relationships that support academic and social growth.
