• Welcome Bonham Parents and Community,

It is my pleasure to welcome everyone to the 2020-2021 school year.  Our faculty and staff strive to make all students feel welcomed, connected and a part of the Bonham family. We strive to challenge each student to grow in his or her academic abilities and to become college ready at the end of their educational journey. Bonham is home to the Regional Day School for children with a hearing impairment.  We proudly serve students from the surrounding El Paso region. We also proudly serve students with a visual impairment.

At Bonham, we understand the importance of providing students with the opportunity to become bilingual and biliterate. We offer a Dual Language program for students in Pre-K to 5th grade. The Bonham instructional team truly believes that college readiness begins at the elementary level. We have dedicated teachers who spend hours planning and creating engaging activities for all learning styles. Our teachers utilize research-based best practices and analyze data to determine current skill levels allowing for setting goals for growth and improvement of each student. We are dedicated to providing an environment conducive to Active Learning. We are a PBIS, (Positive Behavior Intervention School) and focus on modeling and reinforcing positive behaviors. In addition, we are proud to be an SEL, (Social Emotional Learning) school that focuses on developing well-rounded learners.

I’m confident you will find our school website informative. Important Bonham happenings are posted on a regular basis. You can also expect to receive information via parent letters, our school wide global messaging system, weekly Thursday folders, teacher newsletters and our school billboard. Contact your child's teacher to sign up for Class Dojo where you can see Active Learning at it's best. You can also follow us on Instagram, bonhamcolts and Twitter.

I am honored to serve as the Principal of Bonham Elementary School. It is truly a privilege to be part of a community where parents, teachers and students care for each other and strive to build positive relationships that support academic and social growth. Feel free to contact me at (915) 236-8150 or at spsanche@episd.org.

    Yours In Education,
    Sandy Sanchez
