    Mission

     

    The P-TECH at Austin High School will enable students to begin their college and professional lives more quickly and with more support. Graduates of P-TECH have the opportunity to earn an Arts degree or certification and leave high school with the skills and knowledge they need in order to continue onto a four-year Bachelor's of Arts degree, or step seamlessly into competitive, high demand jobs.  P-TECH at Austin High School will offer an Associate of Arts in Computer Programming.

     

    Vision Statement


    EPISD Pathways in Technology Early College High Schools (P-TECH) in partnership with El Paso Community College (EPCC) will provide ALL students the necessary tools and inspiration to be globally competitive in the twenty-first century workforce on day one.

     

    Pathways in Technology Early College High Schools (P-TECH) are innovative open-enrollment high schools that allow students an opportunity to receive both a high school diploma and an Associate Degree and/or an industry certification.   

    Austin High School P-TECH Computer Science in partnership with El Paso Community College (EPCC) will be offering the Class of 2026 in the 2022-2023 school year an opportunity to earn the following: 

    Associate Degree in Computer Science as well as an Industry Certification

    Las preparatorias con universidad temprana con Rutas en tecnología (P-TECH) son preparatorias innovadoras con inscripciones abiertas que dan a los estudiantes la oportunidad de recibir ambos, un diploma de preparatoria, y un título asociado, y/o una certificación en la industria. 

      

    Las ciencias médicas P-TECH de la preparatoria Austin, en conjunto con el colegio de la comunidad (EPCC) estarán ofreciendo a la clase del 2026, empezando en el año escolar 2022-2023, la oportunidad de obtener lo siguiente:
