End of School Year Information

Spring Finals
No Backpacks

  • End of Year Procedures:

    • No Backpacks

    Starting on Tuesday, May 30th through the end of the school year, students will not be allowed to bring a backpack to school. This includes no backpacks, drawstring bags, large tote bags, and athletic bags. Laptop cases are acceptable!

    • Cafeteria

    No credit will be extended to students through the end of the school year. Please plan on having enough money in your child’s account or they may bring cash. 

    • CCTE Students

    If your child attends CCTE, they will go to CCTE only on the days their CCTE class period occurs based on the Final Exam Schedule below. Students will be at CCTE for the entire day. Bus transportation will be provided to CCTE, back to Franklin for lunch at 11:20, then back to CCTE for the afternoon at 12:40. Seniors will have the option to stay at CCTE for lunch and attend the CCTE Senior BBQ on their senior final exam day. 

  • Dates to Remember:

    • Tomorrow – Friday, May 26th

      • Early Release: All students will be released from school at 12:00pm. The cafeteria will be open from 12:00 – 12:30 for students to enjoy lunch.

    • Monday, May 29th

      • No School: EPISD will be closed in observance of Memorial Day.

    • Tuesday, May 30th

      • No Backpacks Start: See information above.  

    • Friday, June 2nd

      • 9th – 11th Graders Final Exams Start: See Final Exam schedule above.

    • Wednesday, June 7th

      • Last Day of School
      • 9th – 11th Graders: Students will be released at normal time – 3:55pm 
      • Senior Breakfast & Awards Ceremony: Seniors arrive to the Main Gym by 8:45 for attendance check in and will be released after the awards ceremony. Only those seniors who have a Senior Clearance appointment will be allowed to stay on campus. The Senior Awards Ceremony will be LiveStreamed for parents to watch!
