(DON HASKINS CENTER — June 12, 2023) — Burges High School’s 308-member Class of 2023 cross the stage at the University of Texas at El Paso’s Don Haskins Center on Monday afternoon during El Paso ISD’s second day of graduations. 

The Class of 2023 earned more than 240 scholarships valued at nearly $21 million dollars. The class is led by Brianna Ozomaro, who is headed to the University of California Los Angeles to study cognitive science, and salutatorian Janae Lopez who will be studying studio art at UTEP.  

The school also recognized Andrew Routledge and Sarah Recendez as the Burges All Boy and All Girl. 

The class includes 63 Burges Early College scholars who earned their associate degree from El Paso Community College.
