(DON HASKINS CENTER – June 13, 2023) – Andress High School’s Class of 2023 kicked off Day 3 of El Paso ISD’s graduation season Tuesday with 325 seniors crossing the stage at the Don Haskins Center. 

The Class of 2023 is led by valedictorian Ruth Garcia and salutatorian Fernanda Orozco. Both students are among Andress’ eight International Baccalaureate diploma candidates and will be attending the Univeresity of Texas at Austin this fall. The ceremony also recognized Orozco, who garnered nearly $400,000 in Raise Me micro scholarships, for being the Andress All-Girl and Izrael Acosta, the Andress All-Boy.

The graduates amassed a total of $2 million in scholarships.
