(DON HASKINS CENTER — June 14, 2023) – Chapin High School’s Class of 2023 closed out the graduation season for El Paso ISD with 315 students earning diplomas Wednesday evening at UTEP’s Don Haskins Center. 

The Class of 2023 earned more than $7.5 million in scholarships. The Huskies are led by valedictorian Noelle Morales, who is headed to the University of Texas at San Antonio this fall, and salutatorian Isabella Lopez, who will attend the University of Arizona.   

This class boasts two QuestBridge Scholars in Katherine Hernandez Ware and Savannah Sanchez, who earned full-ride scholarships to Princeton University and the University of Notre Dame, respectfully. Samahdi Foster also earned a track scholarship to the Air Force Academy. 

The ceremony also recognized the All-Chapin Boy and Girl, Cesar Javalera and Paulina Ortega.
