Daniel E. Call was born in Chihuahua and raised in rural Minnesota in a family of eight children. He received a bachelor’s in Political Science from Brigham Young University–Idaho while taking a two-year break from college to serve as a missionary for his church. He moved to El Paso in 2010 and completed a master’s degree in Political Science at the University of Texas at El Paso in 2013. After graduation, he taught at UTEP as adjunct faculty.  Mr. Call is a graduate of Leadership El Paso Class 40. Mr. Call is a proud local small-business owner and currently owns a State Farm Insurance Agency on the West Side. He serves in his church and assists his wife with her Martial Arts Business. He completed an Executive Education program at the Harvard Business School in 2022, and became a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) in 2023. 

In what little free time he has, he enjoys cryptocurrency, sauna, yoga, training for marathons and exploring all the food of the borderland. He lives on the westside with his beautiful wife Toni Marie and their five children, four of which currently attend El Paso ISD schools.
