Employee Health Clinics
EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2024, PREMIER PRIMARY CARE IS THE NEW EMPLOYEE CLINIC PROVIDER. WELLMED WILL NO LONGER PROVIDE SERVICES TO EMPLOYEES AFTER DECEMBER 31, 2023.
Services are available to all full-time and part-time employees. Eligible dependents must be covered under the EPISD SELF-FUNDED HEALTH PLAN to obtain services.
No Cost Care is provided on a WALK-IN BASIS or by appointment. At EPISD’s Employee Clinics, you must identify yourself immediately as an EPISD employee (or a dependent covered by the self-funded plan) and complete the required paperwork. Depending on the nature of the acute condition that you are being evaluated for, there may be services recommended by the medical staff, which are not included in the NO COST CARE that the District has contracted for. Based on the diagnosis, the entire office visit and treatment may be billed to your medical insurance or to you, directly. Therefore, you may have to pay out of pocket for the services rendered.
No Cost Services include without limitation an office visit for any of the following:

(Immunizations are only covered if insured with the EPISD SELF-FUNDED HEALTH PLAN without the added expense of an office visit.)
