IT Operations is responsible for ensuring that all IT infrastructure, processes, tools, roles, and personnel are working in conjunction to provide services based on agreed availability targets, as defined by service level agreements. IT Operations administers mobile devices such as laptops, iPads, tablets, MacBooks, and desktop computers by automating deployment processes through third-party solutions. The District's chosen Mobile Device Management Systems (MDM) are designed, selected, implemented, and operated by IT Operations. Additionally, IT Operations installs, configures, and monitors web servers and performs server backups to ensure maximum user accessibility to the District's websites.
