National Education Equity Lab (NEEL)

Ed Equity Lab offers high school students the opportunity to earn high school credits from EPISD and college credits from the following partner institutions’ distance education courses:

  1. Introduction to Microeconomics. Offered in partnership with Barnard College. Students taking this course will receive 3 Barnard College credits and a Barnard College transcript upon successful completion of the course.

  2. Introduction to Bioengineering. Offered in partnership with Stanford University. Students taking this course will receive 3 Stanford University credits and a Stanford University transcript upon successful completion of the course.

  3. Foundations of American Literature & Culture. Offered in partnership with Arizona State University. Students taking this course will receive 3 Arizona State University credits and an Arizona State University transcript upon successful completion of the course.

  4. Introduction to Cloud Computing. Offered in partnership with Arizona State University. Students taking this course will receive 3 Arizona State University credits and an Arizona State University transcript upon successful completion of the course.

  5. Introduction to Psychology. Offered in partnership with Wesleyan University. Students taking this course will receive 3 Wesleyan University credits and a Wesleyan University transcript upon successful completion of the course.

  6. Introductory Sociology. Offered in partnership with Arizona State University. Students taking this course will receive 3 Arizona State University credits and an Arizona State University transcript upon successful completion of the course.

  7. College Algebra. Offered in partnership with Howard University and Khan Academy. Students taking this course will receive 3 Howard University credits and a Howard University transcript upon successful completion of the course.

  8. Grit Lab: The Psychology of Passion, Perseverance, and Success taught by Professor Angela Duckworth. Offered in partnership with the University of Pennsylvania. Students taking this course will receive 0.5 University of Pennsylvania credits and a University of Pennsylvania transcript upon successful completion of the course. 

  9. Principles of Criminal Justice. Offered in partnership with Howard University. Students taking this course will receive 3 Howard University credits and a Howard University transcript upon successful completion of the course.
