Dear Hart Elementary School Community,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year!

I am filled with excitement and pride as we begin another year of learning, growth, and connection at Hart Elementary School. It is an absolute honor to continue serving our incredible students, dedicated families, and valued community members. Together, we are building something truly special.

Our campus continues to experience tremendous academic success. Last year, our students demonstrated significant growth on the STAAR assessments in both Reading and Mathematics. We also experienced an increase in student attendance, a reflection of the shared commitment among our students, families, and staff to ensure that every child was present and ready to learn each day. Thank you for making attendance a priority and for your continued partnership in supporting student success.

These accomplishments are a direct reflection of the hard work, dedication, and collaboration of our students, staff, parents, and community. While we are proud of what we achieved together, we are committed to raising the bar even higher this year through new initiatives designed to strengthen student achievement, engagement, and overall success.

We are excited to continue offering student clubs on Mondays and after-school tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays. In addition, we are thrilled to open a student game room, providing students with another positive space to build relationships, strengthen social skills, and celebrate their hard work.

This year also brings additional opportunities for our students. Third-grade students will have the opportunity to participate in Tocando during the school day, while our fourth-grade students will continue to benefit from Kids Excel, a program that provides meaningful enrichment, leadership opportunities, and academic support during the school day.

Last year, we also launched our Student Leadership Committee, one of my favorite initiatives. Committee members met regularly with me and our school counselor to share their ideas, feedback, and recommendations for enhancing both the academic and social experiences of our students. Their voices helped guide decisions and reminded us of the importance of including students as partners in creating a positive school culture.

Another accomplishment we are especially proud of is the tremendous growth in parent volunteers. The increasing involvement of our families reflects the strong partnerships we continue to build between home and school. Together, we are creating a school community where students, parents, staff, and community members work side by side to support student success. Thank you to all of our parent volunteers for generously sharing your time, talents, and support. Your involvement makes a meaningful difference in the lives of our students and strengthens our school community.

Our campus theme this year, "Together We Continue to Grow and Learn," reflects our belief that when students, families, staff, and the community work together, everyone benefits. Together, we will continue creating meaningful learning experiences, celebrating achievements, and inspiring one another to reach new heights.

As always, I want to emphasize that I have an open-door policy. Whether you are a parent with a question, a student with an idea, or a community member with a concern, please know that my door is always open. Your voice matters, your partnership is valued, and your involvement is essential to the continued success of our school.

I am confident that this will be an amazing, successful, and unforgettable school year—filled with opportunity, growth, innovation, and shared success. Thank you for your continued trust, support, and commitment to the success of our students.

¡Bienvenidos al ciclo escolar 2026–2027!

Me llena de emoción y orgullo dar inicio a un nuevo año de aprendizaje, crecimiento y colaboración en la Escuela Primaria Hart. Es un verdadero honor continuar sirviendo a nuestros increíbles estudiantes, dedicadas familias y valiosos miembros de nuestra comunidad. Juntos estamos construyendo algo verdaderamente especial.

Nuestra escuela continúa alcanzando grandes logros académicos. El año pasado, nuestros estudiantes demostraron un crecimiento significativo en las evaluaciones STAAR de Matemáticas y Lectura. Este logro es el resultado del arduo trabajo, la dedicación y la colaboración de nuestros estudiantes, personal, familias y comunidad. Aunque estamos muy orgullosos de estos resultados, este año seguiremos elevando nuestras expectativas mediante nuevas iniciativas diseñadas para fortalecer aún más el aprendizaje y la participación de nuestros estudiantes.

Continuaremos ofreciendo clubes estudiantiles los lunes y tutorías después de clases los martes y jueves. Además, nos entusiasma inaugurar un salón de juegos para nuestros estudiantes, un espacio donde podrán fortalecer sus relaciones, desarrollar habilidades sociales y disfrutar de un ambiente positivo como reconocimiento a su esfuerzo.

Este año también trae nuevas oportunidades para nuestros estudiantes. Los alumnos de tercer grado tendrán la oportunidad de participar en el programa Tocando durante el horario escolar, mientras que nuestros estudiantes de cuarto grado continuarán beneficiándose del programa Kids Excel, el cual les brinda enriquecimiento académico y oportunidades de liderazgo durante el día escolar.

El año pasado también iniciamos nuestro Comité de Liderazgo Estudiantil, una de las iniciativas más significativas para nuestra escuela. Los estudiantes que forman parte de este comité se reunieron conmigo y con nuestra consejera escolar para compartir sus ideas, sugerencias y recomendaciones con el propósito de fortalecer tanto su experiencia académica como social en Hart. Sus aportaciones nos ayudaron a tomar decisiones importantes y reafirmaron nuestro compromiso de escuchar la voz de nuestros estudiantes.

Otro logro del que nos sentimos muy orgullosos es el incremento en el número de padres voluntarios. La creciente participación de nuestras familias refleja el fortalecimiento de la colaboración entre la escuela y el hogar. Juntos estamos creando una comunidad escolar más unida que beneficia a nuestros estudiantes, fortalece a nuestras familias y enriquece a toda nuestra comunidad.

Nuestro lema para este año es "Juntos Seguimos Creciendo y Aprendiendo", porque creemos que cuando estudiantes, familias, personal escolar y comunidad trabajamos unidos, todos alcanzamos el éxito.

Como siempre, quiero recordarles que tengo una política de puertas abiertas. Ya sea que sea un padre de familia con una pregunta, un estudiante con una idea o un miembro de la comunidad con una inquietud, sepan que mi puerta siempre estará abierta. Su voz es importante y valoro profundamente nuestra colaboración.

Estoy convencida de que este será un año escolar extraordinario, lleno de oportunidades, aprendizaje, crecimiento, innovación y éxito compartido. Gracias por formar parte de la gran familia de la Escuela Primaria Hart.
