A message from our principal, Ms. Steele

I am humbled and honored to serve as the Principal of Polk Elementary, a school of academic excellence and long-standing traditions. I feel blessed to be able to work with this community of wonderful students, devoted parents, and outstanding teachers. It will be my mission to continue nurturing the culture of high expectations, great academic performance, multicultural competence, and parental involvement. I strive to put into action my many years of experience and hard work to ensure the academic success,  safety, and well-being of all the students at Polk.

I will constantly be looking for ways to bring even more success to our school and make our students independent thinkers and problem solvers. It will be my privilege to work alongside you as a team because I truly believe that working together towards a common goal makes us invincible. Let’s make providing the best educational experience possible for ALL  students at Polk our main goal!
