Applications are for current 8th and 9th graders to enter as a 9th or 10th grader.

For incoming 9th grade students, submit the following by emailing wavega@episd.org

In-District (EPISD) students

• 8th grade 1st Nine Weeks Report Card (screenshot from Student Portal is fine)

• 8th grade Attendance (screenshot from Student Portal is fine)

Out-of-District students

• Silva 2026-27 Application

• 7th grade final report card

• 7th grade test scores

• 8th grade 1st Nine Weeks Report Card

• 8th grade Attendance Report (if not already visible on report card)

  Screenshots from your online Student Portal, Home Access Center, Skyward, etc. will suffice.

Requirements for Acceptance

• Average of 85 or higher in core classes (English, Math, Science, and Social Studies)

• 7th grade final report card for incoming 9th grade students or 8th grade final report card for incoming 9th grade students

• 8th grade most recent report card for incoming 9th grade students - or - 9th grade most recent report card for incoming 10th grade students

• STAAR scores (approaches/meets/masters) for 7th grade for incoming 9th graders - or - STAAR scores for 8th grade for incoming 10th grade students

• 94% attendance
