Tom Lea Elementary Student Ambassador Program

Why Become a Tom Lea Student Ambassador?
Being a Student Ambassador is an amazing way to help other students feel welcome and supported when they join our school! Here are some reasons why becoming an ambassador is beneficial:
Help Others Feel at Home: You will assist new students as they adjust to school life.
Make New Friends: You can improve your friendships by connecting with others and doing fun activities.
Make a Positive Difference: You will help make the school a kinder and more welcoming place for everyone.
What Do Student Ambassadors Do?
Student Ambassadors have important and fun jobs. Here’s how you can help:
Welcome New Students: Greet new students and help them feel comfortable.
Give Tours: Show new students around the school so they know where everything is.
Lunch Buddies: Make sure new students have a friend to sit with at lunch.
Introduce Students to Staff: Help new students meet teachers and staff who can support them.
Host Fun Events: Plan fun activities, like games or community service projects, for everyone to enjoy.
Say Goodbye: When a student moves away, give them a kind and positive farewell.
Offer Extra Support: If a student needs help, you can ask a teacher or the sponsor to find the right resources.
