The Destination District Redesign (DDR) agenda item, originally scheduled for discussion at tomorrow, Tuesday October 15th’s regular El Paso ISD Board of Trustees meeting at 5 p.m., has been rescheduled. The DDR item will now be discussed on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 5:30 p.m.

Dear Members of the El Paso ISD Community,
As we build on the successes of Phase I of our Destination District Redesign (DDR), I’m excited to announce the launch of Phase II. DDR is a deliberate evaluation of our programs, facilities, and resources to ensure they meet the needs of our students and communities. It’s about optimizing resources to better serve everyone, ensuring that every dollar spent supports our vision of inspiring and empowering every child to thrive.
Phase II will focus on sharing the feedback gathered in Phase I and presenting a preliminary quality seat analysis of our elementary and PK-8 campuses. This phase will guide district decisions regarding right-sizing/closures, facilities improvements, and strategic program expansion opportunities.
Your active participation in Phase I laid a strong foundation, and your continued engagement is crucial as we move forward together. Together, we will make El Paso ISD a destination district of excellence for all.
