Students, staff and community members in the Richardson Middle and Nixon Elementary area helped gathered more than 750 pairs of socks to benefit homeless El Pasoans. The student who spearheaded the effort, sixth-grader Evan Lopez, delivered the socks to three agencies during the holiday break.
