EPISD teachers to receive 6 percent pay raise
EPISD teachers will see an average salary increase of 6 percent in the upcoming 2019-20 academic year as part of a compensation package that was approved by the Board of Trustees on Tuesday. Other employees will receive a 5 percent increase from mid-point.

EPISD, COEP partner to launch El Paso Reads initiative
Superintendent Juan E. Cabrera and Mayor Dee Margo launched El Paso Reads, a collaboration between EPISD and the City of El Paso to help create more reading spaces for students outside the school and home environments. The goal of the partnership is to increase the literacy rates in El Paso.
