Bradley and Fannin elementary schools will be consolidated into one elementary campus at the current Bradley site as part of the 2016 EPISD Bond. The project scope includes renovations to the existing Bradley building and a new building addition. The new addition will house the PK-1 classrooms complete with administrative space, a library, and multi-purpose room. The existing building will serve second to fifth grade with classrooms, a bookroom, fine arts spaces, and cafetorium.
The total project budget is $19,179,637 with $14,750,000 budgeted for construction costs. A more in depth budget breakdown is available on the EPISD Bond website.
Construction is anticipated to begin in summer 2018, with the project concluding in summer 2021. Work will be split into phases, construction on the new wing will take place in the first year, and renovations to the existing building will follow.
The name and mascot of the new campus will be decided in 2018 with the input of a school naming committee and the community. For more information, check out the School Name Nomination tab on the Bond website.
