Crockett Elementary School’s historic building will undergo various upgrades and improvements as part of the 2016 Bond scope of work including new ceilings, updated interior finishes, servicing of light fixtures, HVAC upgrade to refrigerated air, accessibility improvements, and a new technology classroom. Other classroom buildings will receive select improvements as discussed with campus staff.
Exterior improvements to the historical building also are planned. The school will have new drop-off zones, redesigned parking, improved landscaping, new wrought iron perimeter fencing, and newly covered playgrounds.
The total project budget is $11,101,143 with $9,000,000 budgeted for construction. More details on the project budget can be found on the Bond website.
Construction will start in the summer of 2018 with completion planned for summer 2019.
