Read Across America Week

Clendenin Elementary celebrated Read Across America/Dr. Seuss' Birthday with week long activities. The week kicked off with a visiting author Phillip Cortez on Monday which was also pajama day. Tuesday the students watched a Dr. Seuss movie during lunch. Wednesday was Wacky Wednesday with students dressing up in mismatched, inside out clothes. Thursday the students wore crazy socks and each class had a visiting reader that read them a Dr. Seuss book. Friday finished the week with Dr. Seuss dress up, the Dr. Seuss Parade and green eggs and ham for lunch. Students and faculty also sported their new PBIS Dr. Seuss shirts which can be used throughout the year as part of the daily uniform. Many thanks to everyone who worked to make the week a success.
