PHOTO ESSAY: Aaron and Alvin Jones host youth skills football camp at Burges
(BURGES HIGH SCHOOL —July 19, 2021) — NFL standouts and Burges High School alumni Aaron and Alvin Jones gathered about 400 young football players from throughout the region at Burges High School to continue a tradition their late father created.
The two El Paso athletes had the annual Jones Brothers Youth Skills Camp on the field that saw them grow as players, and brought along friends from throughout the country to help improve the talent in El Paso.
The camp this year was organized in memory of Avin Jones Sr, the brothers’ father, who passed away earlier this year. Jones Sr. was a community advocate who partnered with schools throughout EPISD to donate food, toys and football advice to children and their families.
The camp was organized by the A&A All The Way Foundation started by the brothers.
