EPISD athletes to play in football all-star showcase

Greater El Paso Football Showcase

(EL PASO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT Nov. 30, 2021) — Congratulations to the EPISD student athletes who were drafted to participate in the upcoming Greater El Paso Football Showcase!

The Thunder and Storm teams had their drafts on Sunday to select the best senior football players that will represent their schools in this regional all-star game on Saturday Dec. 18, at the Socorro ISD Student Activities Complex. 

Close to 30 EPISD student athletes were drafted to play.

Playing for the Thunder are:

Burges DL Ah-Ki Shavea was eligible to be drafted but can not play due to injury.

The 29th Annual Greater El Paso Football Showcase All-Star Game also will feature band members, cheerleaders, dance teams, JROTC groups, choirs, mascots and student journalists all showing their talents.
