Elementary students show off coding skills at robotics competition
(JEFFERSON HIGH SCHOOL -- April 3, 2019) — More than 100 third- through fifth-grade students from throughout the District gathered at Jefferson High School this weekend to show off their coding skills at the 2019 EPISD Robotics Competition.
The kids built and programmed their robots to perform certain tasks, earning points along the way. Students showed off not just their engineering skills, but their Active Learning and Project-Based Learning chops, too!
