(EL PASO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT -- Oct. 6, 2020) — EPISD today confirmed one on-campus and nine off-campus COVID-19 positive cases among students and district personnel.
The one on-campus case is an employee at Coronado High School. As outlined in EPISD’s School Reopening Guidelines, the District has notified all Coronado students and personnel who had contact with the infected individual and must quarantine for 14 days to monitor for symptoms.
The nine off-campus cases are six students and three employees, none of whom have had activity on EPISD schools recently.
To abide by federal privacy laws, EPISD will not disclose the name, gender or any other information of the student.
